The Molded Fiberglass La Chaise was originally designed by Charles & Ray Eames for an international competition at MOMA in New York City.
Inspired by Gaston Lachaise’s 1927 sculpture Floating Figure, the fiberglass silhouette accommodates multiple seating positions and resembles a bird in flight, aligning with the Eameses’ focus on dynamic, functional design.
Shown in Parchment Fiberglass with Satin Finish, Mirror Chromed Stainless Steel Legs, and White Oak cruciform base.
The Molded Fiberglass Lounger: La Chaise is a faithful reproduction of the original Charles & Ray Eames Molded Fiberglass La Chaise design.
