Detailed information on Whitby Jet Tension Bangle Rounded Square Design

This beautiful Whitby Jet bangle is made in our Sheffield workshop by jewellery designer Andrew Thomson. The cushion-shaped stone is 11mm by 11mm and set in hallmarked 925 sterling silver.

As all stones are created naturally, each one is unique and may therefore vary from the image. However we guarantee they are of the highest quality and handpicked specifically for each design.

Now a little bit about the stone...

Jet Stone is an organic rock of wood material which has fossilised over time. Whitby Jet is highly prized for its silky sheen and is over 180 million years old. Jet is used in stone therapy as a grounding and protective agent. Aligned to the base chakra, Jet enables the inner spirit to strengthen by warding off negative energies and emotions.
