INSPIRATIONThe Wilmotte & Industries design studio, through its compositional work and balance of shapes and colors, strives to rediscover the self-evident character of objects and the sensuality of materials.Research into Jacquard was inspired by the architect\'s identity, his artistic sensibility and his world of colors. It\'s only natural that he should return to the French art of weaving, which he had already passionately embraced in the 80s, and whose technicality and language he has fully mastered.The motifs in this collection reflect his projects. Jacquard warp and weft threads intertwine, with precision and subtlety, to sketch out geometric lines. The same constructive gesture can be found in the architectural structure of the building and in the weave of the jacquard weave; the two respond and harmonize to create an intimate, contemporary and confidential universe.
