HOT ! Autumn ombre necklace

These long pearl necklaces have quickly become my favourite pieces to make. I love working with color, and these necklaces allow me to combine colors like an artist might. The challenge is to choose the right pearls and gemstones to blend from one color to the next, all the way around the necklace. It\'s also a great excuse to buy \"just one more set of beads\".Many shades of green, plum and gold are incorporated into this piece, from the darkest olive green to the palest gold; from dark mulberry to the softest lavender. I used green quartz, oro verde, champagne citrine, honey quartz and beer quartz for the gemstones; and freshwater pearls in several shades of olive, lavender and plum. Some of the gemstones are AAA quality, while others are a rougher cut. Some pearls are nugget-shaped, which are flat on one side and rounded on the other; while others are almost perfectly round. I love the juxtaposition of fine and imperfect, and it makes the piece much more interesting.Prefer silver? Please contact me anytime for a custom order.

The length of this necklace is approx. 33\" (84cm) and is considered opera-length.
