The rug is emblazoned with an inventory chain stich embroidered number with intials on the back corrner of the carpet - a distinctive feature of items sold through the Shiraz bazaar.

The carpet is in useable condition with some old darned repairs however the work could be improved with better restoration. The carpet with this additional work would bring up the price to £1500.
