In its original condition, this mid 20th century antique Chinese canopy bed is crafted by the skilled artisans of Fujian province in the 20th century, The rails are formed by beautiful hand made fretwork. Intricate carving of decorative patterns and people in the gardens adorned this antique Chinese canopy bed/wedding bed. 

Impeccably handcrafted, the canopy and rails are ingeniously interlocked using the precise and enduring technique of tenon and mortise joinery. The canopy itself is a work of art, adorned with intricate fretwork and decorative carvings that exude exotic  charm. The top and rails can be effortlessly disassembled and assembled for convenient transportation or storage.

Complementing its timeless appeal, this canopy bed comes complete with a newly made upholstery .

Although the passage of time has loosened some of the joints of canopy. The top still hold tight together without using any fasteners. However, it may need some light level of fastening to be sure full tight fit.
