This silver torc necklace features a hand cut piece of hammered sterling silver which is placed on top of a hand shaped frame.  The hammered texture gives a lovely glint as the light catches it, for a simple yet elegant look.

But even more special than the actual look of this silver torc necklace is the history that inspired it. The Celtic Torc was a rigid neck or wrist ornament popular in the Bronze Age in Ireland. Silver Torc Necklace Details

This sterling silver torc necklace is hand crafted and hung on a doubled up fine chain. It is finished with a high polish and a hand made hook and eye clasp. The torc pendant measures 1.5\" wide and 1.5\" long.  It is suspended on a chain available in 16\", 18\", and 20\" lengths.  Please contact me if you\'d like a different length chain.
