HOT ! Chaos-Ears Hound in rock crystal intaglio necklace

I can\'t abide depicting a dog with ears at rest. My own dogs tell me more with their ears than they do with their brows, but more importantly, I love it when a hound runs and their ears bounce around like hair. 

This greyhound with story-telling ears is carved into a 16mm x 16mm round rock crystal cabochon and set in sterling silver.

As with my wax work, all stone carving is done by me in my Newcastle upon Tyne studio in the UK. I use diamond-coated discs and burrs, and the process gives me the most colourful headache.
