Seiko presents the new Classic Series

When it comes to classic watch designs, people often think of Seiko. In this sense, the Japanese watch manufacturer today presents the new Classic Series. This collection initially includes five watches, all sharing the same stainless steel case and bracelet. Three of them are three-hand watches with date display, while the other two offer an additional 24-hour subdial and an open heart.

Inspired by Japanese design

The Classic Series is inspired by the softer, gentler aspects of Japanese design. Compared to the Sharp Edged Series of the brand, these new models feature rounded shapes and softer tones on the dials, emphasizing a different aesthetic approach.

Three-hand models: SPB463, SPB465 and SPB467

Particularly remarkable in the collection are the three-hand models. These watches have a case diameter of 40.2 mm and are 13 mm thick. The case is polished, with brushed surfaces on the lugs and a stepped bezel. The elegant bracelet with a push-button folding clasp consists of seven rows of links that feature a mix of polished and brushed surfaces. The curved links, which look like coffee beans, minimize contact with the wrist, thus providing improved wearing comfort.

Each of the slightly curved dials of the three-hand models is inspired by glossy silk and therefore has a sparkling texture. The SPB463 is called “Shiro-Iro” and has a white dial.
