One of my favorite movies growing up was Thelma & Louise. The film came out in 1991. The not so hidden political undertone of this film shows two female friends who are struggling with their own personal reality while trying to break free of old patterns. I just love how far we have come as women. There\'s more to go. I remember my best friend in high school and me arguing over who was more Louise. I think we both were inspired by and wanted to have her strength and spunk and \"take no sh&t\" attitude.
