The Color Cabinet collection is created by Belgian designers Muller Van Severeen. Galleries, museums and also collectors own pieces from this duo. Their creations are marked by their colors, their radical lines, but also the refined, timeless appearance.

This Color Cabinet piece of furniture has a minimalist design but with bright, striking colors. It is reminiscent of the Bauhaus and the works of Donald Judd. This pair starts from the functionality of the cabinet to explore and highlight the furniture through contrasts and the assembly of materials.

The color palette was chosen to accentuate the primary shapes and dimensions of this collection. Thus, each piece is functional and fun. The Color Cabinet is designed to store and showcase your objects.

The entire collection is made up of boxes which can be adapted to each room in the house. Thus, it is possible to make a wall shelf, a bedside table, a sideboard, a TV cabinet, etc. This 2 box variant is ideal for making a small sideboard, a sideboard or a TV unit for your living room.

Color Cabinet storage is made of Valchromat: a mass-dyed and varnished wood fiber panel. The fibers are impregnated with organic dyes and chemically bonded together with a special resin.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay. Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers. Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.
