Blue Amethyst

Amethyst mined in Brazil Montezuma mine had the rare ability to turn blue when heat treated (almost all other amethyst turns either yellow or clear when heated).   This rare version of amethyst is no longer mined and is considered collectable.   I remember how big this stone was on TV home shopping in the early 2000 only to disappear.
