- Pollux dress in indigo. LEO studio is a Portuguese brand conceptualised in Alentejo with the goal of creating sustainable clothing made out of 100% organic ingredients. Every piece is handmade and naturally dyed which makes each one of them exclusive and unique.
100% Linen hand dyed with natural colours / Handmade in Portugal- This natural colour can be extracted from several plants but the most common is the Indigofera Tinctoria. After being harvested and squashed, the plants are soaked to ferment. Agitation and fermentation cause the water to change from green to blue. Afterwards, the water is filtered until a blue paste is obtained. From the paste, stones are formed which are then pulverised to be used as pigment.
