Located in San Ignacio, Peru, La Lucuma farm has belonged to the Huaches Zurita family since 1984. Initially modest (2 hectares), it has grown with a clear vision: to produce exceptional coffees. In 2017, the introduction of the Geisha variety marked a turning point. This batch won 2nd place in the Cup of Excellence with a remarkable score of 90.68 points.

Processing

This Geisha has been processed by the washed method: the cherries are harvested by hand, pulped, then fermented to remove the mucilage. Water washing is followed by drying in the sun, on patios or raised beds.

Sensory profile

An elegant, refined coffee with notes of juicy peach, jasmine, honey and caramel. Lively touches of lemon and lime add freshness, while vanilla and lavender prolong the finish. A floral, fruity and perfectly balanced cup.
