The knits consist of 77% post-consumer recycled cotton/denim, 15% cotton and 8% other fibers. This way, old denim is not wasted but used again in a new production cycle – zips and buttons are removed, denim is cut, pieces are reduced in fibres and put into a production cycle again by spinning a new yarn. No new chemical colours are used because the denim is previously sorted by colors.
The recycled denim yarn comes from an Italian company called Pinori Filati and the knitwear itself is knit in Lithuanian factory called Gija UAB.
