1960s Capricorn zodiac necklace by Trifari.
A clean, modernist disc with a raised Capricorn motif, pared back and graphic in that very 60s way. The reverse is marked with the Capricorn dates, and it retains the original Crown Trifari tag.
Trifari at this point was producing some of the most consistent, well-made costume jewellery in America. The Crown Trifari mark, used from the late 1930s onwards, is associated with the brand’s higher quality output. Pieces like this sit right in that lineage, simple, considered, and made to last.
