For difficult or demanding industrial environments, including auto body shops, welding shops, spray paint booths, etc, only the most vigorous filtration is acceptable. The Interceptor 2000 industrial air cleaner is capable of removing heavy dust, smoke, oil mist, odors, gases, chemicals, and many more contaminants. This unit is a money-saver because it allows you to recycle your heated or cooled air, rather than exhausting to the outside. This means it saves you money year-round! 1 Interceptor-2000 industrial air cleaner is recommended for every 1500 - 2000 sq. ft. (approximately).

How does the Interceptor-2000 Industrial Air Cleaner work?

By using a powerful blower it\'s able to easily pull the air from dust-laden or smoke-filled areas. 25 inches of filter media means over 95% of chemicals, VOCs, odors, oil mist, smoke particles, etc. are removed. Discharged air is refreshing and remarkably free of contaminants. This is particularly beneficial for workers in highly contaminated areas such as spray paint booths, body shops, manufacturing, or factories. Microscopic airborne particles are also trapped. Everyone prefers breathing clean air. The Interceptor will remove pollutants that cause discomfort, stuffiness, and long-term health issues.

Stage 1 - Pleated Pre-Filter (4\") MERV-8First, the pre-filter captures mold spores, large dust particles, hair spray, cement dust, paint spray, etc. Efficiency has an 85% rating particles as small as 3 microns. The Pre-filter will capture the larger particles and will prolong the life of subsequent filters. Replace the pre-filter every 1-2 months.

Stage 2 - Multi-pocket Bag Filter (15\") – 60-65% EfficiencyNext, the multi-pocket filter is capable of removing heavy dust, smoke, oil mist, odors, gases, chemicals, and many more contaminants from the air. The unique design of a multi-pocket filter allows the air to pass through an increased surface area with a less restrictive airflow. Each pocket holds particles until fully inflated while maintaining adequate airflow between adjacent pockets. Replace the Bag Filter every 3 months.

Stage 3 - HEPA Filter (6\") – 90/95 ASHRAEFinally, the HEPA filter in the Interceptor 2000 is a throw-away filter in a rigid metal frame. Particles (such as smoke, dust, etc.) that get past the bag filter are trapped in the HEPA filter. Proper maintenance of the HEPA filter is absolutely essential to the functionality of the Interceptor 2000 industrial air cleaner. Replace the HEPA filter every 12 months.

OPTIONAL - Remote ControlEasily control the settings on your Interceptor-2000 Industrial Air Cleaner with a handy Remote Control Key Fob. If your I-2000 is installed in an awkward area or is too high to reach, the remote control is an excellent choice. Each receiver is factory installed and comes with 2 battery-operated remote control key fobs. (Multiple air cleaners require a separate receiver/transmitter for each unit.) Receiver / Transmitter range is approximately 100 feet under normal operating conditions.
