HOT ! Dark Tower Iridiscent Ankle Boots

Dark Tower Iridiscent is a very confortable black botie with Poplar wood platform (painted in Black), that adjust the foot with lateral elastics. It’s made in black bioleather and textured black with iridiscent reflections. It’s inspired by the film “DARK TOWER”, a film where the main charater is the Man in Black and all the city is transversed in dark buildings and dark thoughts.

With a contrast between the bright and iridiscent reflection, the dull black sides and toecap and the black wood from the platform, they give an excelente walk due to the natural bioleather lining, the natural rubber sole and the elastic for adjusting to the foot. In this ankle boots, we used black and iridiscent bioleather – a green material that have no heavy metal on it’s composition and could be burried and dissolves in to 2 to 3 weeks, serving as a natural compost.

The platforms from our shoes and ankle boots are made in Poplar wood, a very light, flexible and resistant natural material and therefor used for shoes platforms. The poplar trees grow near the rivers so they have plenty of water at their disposal what makes this wood so flexible and so light. These platforms are handmade in a family factory in S. J. da Madeira, where the owner, the wife and the son work to draw, cut, sand and paint in a space full of instruments and machines as carpenter workshop.

Marita Moreno\'s Bioleather Line is produced in wet-white based leather that doesn’t have any chrome or heavy metal. The Bioleather can disappear in nature between 2 to 3 weeks without polluting the environment. This product is chemically innocuous, it iscompostable and suitable to produce fertilizers. Leather industry is a recycled industry, due it works with the remains from the food industry.

Designed and made in Portugal in a Sustainable and Ethical perspective way - using only portuguese factories and handmade crafts to create its designs.
