The Twist Low is a multi-layered low top sneaker for men that uses premium canvas and soft suede to allow for creative and unique color combinations. A classic with a twist. Pick your preferred colorway or customize your own pair. Black, grey and white: the simplicity that never goes wrong. All the leathers used in our custom shoes are gold and silver rated by the Leather Working Group and adherent to the Leather Standard by OEKO-TEX®.

All of our products are made to order in a craft workshop in Portugal. After your order is processed, we try our best to dispatch them within 15 days and we will keep you informed about the entire process, from order to delivery. 

Your order will be delivered by DHL. We only offer Express Shipping because it guarantees that your sneakers and its packaging arrive in perfect conditions in 2-4 business days (depending on the country) after they are made. You will receive updates regarding shipment through email or message. Care: 

Plain Leather: Apply a thin layer of leather balm and once it’s dry, gently brush to keep the finish of the leather always in good conditions. Opt for softer hog bristles to make sure you don’t damage your sneakers. A leather protector spray is also an option to consider.

Suede: Use a brush to gently remove any dirt or dust. Brush in the direction of the fabric’s grain to avoid damaging it. Dry stains can be removed by using a white or brown gum eraser. If it doesn\'t work we advise you to visit your local cobbler and get additional advice.

Nubuck: Nubuck cloths are the best option to remove dirt and shiny spots. Wipe in several directions using circular motions and make sure you cover the entire nap area.

Rubber Soles: Clean the dirt with a dampened cloth and carefully soak the sole in a mixture of water and dishwashing soap. Make sure you don’t soak the upper part! Use a toothbrush with the mixture to scrub your soles. Once it’s done, dry the sneakers using a cloth.

Hello! My name is Liedson Carvalho, I am 20 years old and I grew up in Cova da Moura, Amadora. From an early age, I discovered in cinema and photography unique ways of expressing myself and connecting with people. I am currently a community facilitator at Associação Moinho da Juventude, where I take part in projects that create opportunities for young people and highlight the value of our community. I am also a photographer and a member of the programming team at the IndieLisboa International Film Festival — experiences that have brought me closer to both cultural and international events.

 I really enjoyed being part of iMAGINE, where I had the chance to design my own pair of sneakers. I chose the Twist Low model for its clean design and double laces, combining it with the color brown — a choice that reflects my connection to the fight for recognition, rights, and respect. The creative process was deeply meaningful, as it strengthened my self-esteem, racial pride, and sense of empowerment. I see myself as energetic, positive, and collaborative.
