Presented is a striking Native American Indian sterling silver, turquoise, and shell bead necklace, dating to around the 1950s-1970s. The necklace consists of four strands of graduated turquoise beads, in polished but still naturalistic shapes. Between the turquoise beads are stacks of very fine heishe style shell beads. The strands join at sterling silver conical end caps, ending as a single, silver beaded strand with a hook style clasp. The necklace is incredibly long, absolutely guaranteed to make a statement.
The necklace is not stamped or hallmarked, but the clasp, the round beads preceding the clasp, and the end caps are tested and guaranteed sterling silver. The necklace is in great condition. The clasp functions well and closes securely. No breaks and no repairs. The necklace is about 36 inches long. The necklace weighs 153 grams, or 5.4 ounces.
