Herein lies the inspiration, which can serve as a reminder to tune in and listen to the whispers and sometimes cries of your soul.

Milagros are folk charms most often made from brass or tin that people in Mexico often purchase to pin under the saints in church to pray for a desired outcome.  

This piece is comprised of vintage brass ear Milagros that I brought back from Mexico City in 2017, along with freshwater baroque pearl drops and Czech glass bugle and seed beads.  The bugle beads are a deep iridescent red wine color with flashes of gold, the the seed beads are clear, lined in gold foil. 

The dangling pieces are wired with both sterling silver and 14k gold filled wire, and the necklace is about 18-1/2 inches including the sterling silver lobster clasp, plus a 2 inch sterling silver extender chain finished with a freshwater pearl.
