With Empire\'s DV210 direct-vent wall furnace, you get a clean, convenient way to add heat cost-efficiently! The slim, compact design allows it to be installed out of the way on any outside wall. A vent goes through the wall and out. There is no need for a chimney or flue - just a gas line. The Empire DV-210-SGX does not use electricity and is ideal for bedrooms or dens since it vents directly to the outside. At 10000 BTUs, it is a perfect size for smaller rooms. The neutral beige-colored cabinetry will blend into any room and add endless comfort. Plus, it is not sitting in the middle of the floor, and there are no wires to trip over!

A direct-vent heating product increases the economy by using outside air to support combustion. Inside air is warmed as it re-circulates around a sealed combustion chamber, and this warm air heats the room and reduces drafts. Empire Comfort Systems\' Direct-Vent units are ideal where existing flues or chimneys cannot be used.
 
The DV210SGX is a standing pilot furnace. It does not include a thermostat. A wireless Remote Wall Thermostat (TRW) and a Wall Thermostat Millivolt Reed Switch (TMV) are both available separately.

Note: A licensed gas technician is required for installation of this product. Please check your local regulations as some areas may require inspection after installation of gas products. It is highly recommended that you use your own gas technician or gas provider for any repairs.
