Engineered Mesh UpperDesigned to provide lightweight, breathable support, the Saucony Tempus has been constructed using an engineered mesh upper. This upper has been designed to deliver a comfortable fit from heel to toe whilst still providing lightweight breathability and comfort. The minimal, engineered mesh will encase each foot in breathable comfort. The perforated mesh allows cool air to flow throughout the shoe to remove an uncomfortable heat build-up so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times.

The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin that creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. A cushioned tongue sits nicely against the foot to enhance comfort and prevent irritation caused by rubbing while heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off easily. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

PWRRUN PB MidsoleThe midsole of the Saucony Tempus has been constructed using Saucony\'s signature ultralight and springy PWRRUN PB cushioning. PWRRUN PB provides lightweight and springy cushioning to keep your feet comfortable at all times. The lightweight cushioning provides a soft and stable base underfoot, giving you an added spring as you move through the gait cycle.

The bottom layer of the midsole features PWRRUN foam which enhances protective cushioning to offer optimal shock absorption. A new feature of the Tempus is the Adaptive Guidance System which works with the midsole to deliver optimal comfort and protection to help guide the foot for a more supportive ride. Completing the midsole is a contoured EVA sockliner that moulds to the shape of the foot for a smoother ride and a customised fit.

XT-900 Rubber OutsoleDeveloped to be hardwearing and grippy, the outsole of the Saucony Tempus has been constructed using XT-900, a durable rubber compound. This premium outsole offers exceptional traction and durability so you can continue with complete confidence. The rubber can form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, which will give you one less thing to worry about.

The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, making your gait cycle more efficient. Reinforced in high-wear areas the outsole will withstand long-lasting wear. Lastly, multi-directional grooves are placed strategically to further secure your feet to the ground, and will also improve efficiency in takeoffs, landings and changes of direction.
