Matryx UpperThe Genesis Trail Running Shoes have been constructed using Salomon\'s unique Matryx construction, to keep your feet protected, cool and comfortable on the trails. The materials are highly durable and abrasive-resistant, to protect your feet from knocks and bumps and provide you with a long-lasting pair of shoes that you can rely on for every adventure. The fabrics are highly breathable to help prevent overheating and keep feet cool and cosy on long trail adventures, whilst moisture-wicking properties help to reduce a build-up of sweat and moisture, therefore keeping feet dry on the move.

Strategically placed overlays further protect the shoes from damage and keep your feet shielded from rocks and debris. The shoes have a cushioned tongue and collar to keep you comfortable, reducing the risks of irritation and keeping your feet secure.

An EndoFit system features to hug your foot in the perfect place and provides you with a precise fit. Working alongside this, the Quicklace system allows you to make changes to the fit of the shoes with ease, further keeping them secure and feet locked in therefore preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.

EnergyFoam MidsoleBuilt on a springy and comfortable midsole compound that delivers punch and pop while smoothing out your landings for a fluid ride, the Genesis provides lightweight and responsive cushioning. EnergyFoam is a lightweight, springy and resilient foam compound that powers your stride forward. This lightweight, responsive foam has been created by combining EVA and Olefin [OBC] to deliver long-lasting cushion and bouncy energy return. Additionally, the Genesis has an Active Chassis to provide a great amount of support, helping to prevent injuries from occurring and keeping feet comfortable.

All-Terrain Contagrip OutsoleCrafted with an All-Terrain Contagrip, the outsole perfectly balances geometry with rubber to deliver confident running on a wide range of surfaces. The outsole has a unique two-part lug pattern along with a raised tread, which offers an adaptable secure grip, even on difficult terrains and sketchy situations. The deep lugs are able to anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you into place whilst also forming a solid base to push off from.
