Altra used their bouncy and responsive Altra EGO™ midsole and increased the stack height of the shoe by adding more cushioning to keep you comfortable during your run. They also retooled the Innerflex grooves to give you smoother transitions from heel to toe.

The Rivera 3 has all of Altra’s signature characteristics—there is a wider toe box to let your toes splay and a zero heel-to-toe drop to promote natural, balanced running. The Rivera 3 uses Altra’s slim FootShape™ Fit that gives it a sleeker appearance and tighter fit than other Altra shoes.

Designers updated the molded heel collar to better hold your Achilles and provide a better lockdown and fit, while the stretchy upper is breathable and comfortable.
