Brother Wolf is a family-owned business founded in 1989. The name Brother Wolf is a reference to St. Francis of Assisi, who is known as the patron saint of animals. In the legend of St. Francis, the saint tamed a dangerous wolf by treating him as a creature of God and calling him “Brother Wolf.” This medallion features the profile of the Virgin Mary on the front and a cross and flowers on the back. The sterling silver pendant has an Art Nouveau arch shape and is surrounded by a 14k gold vine-like border. The saint is depicted wearing a halo, with the words “Virgo Maria” (Latin for Virgin Mary) at the base of the image.
