This necklace, made out of the highest quality Mexican Sterling Silver, represents the very characteristic tail, of the Vaquita Marina (Vaquita porpoise).
The Vaquita is considered the smallest porpoise in the world and it\'s only in this very biodiverse part of Mexico, the Sea of Cortez, that we are lucky enough to be able to appreciate this incredible marine mammal.
The vaquita is currently at the highest risk of extinction due to different causes such as bycatch, increased fishing activity and the limited growth rate of its population in the Sea of Cortez.
