A fabulous lavaliere necklace, adorned with a colourful bee pendant, set with a violet amethyst thorax, green pear cut peridot abdomen and wings studded with bright cultured opals.

Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women Suffrage movement which took place in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which symbolised; Violet for Royalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes! 

This wonderful bee pendant is fashioned in sterling silver, gilded in 18ct yellow gold and is suspended from a fine gold gilt chain and ring clasp.
