SEA BEAR - where ancient art meets Ursus Maritimus - the wonderful polar bear...

Hand carved SEA BEAR drop necklace made from Woolly Mammoth tusk. This is a stylised design that captures a distant view of a polar bear wandering the ice.

The Mammoth Tusk used for this piece is CERTIFIED 34,690 YEARS OLD (+/- 815 years). All our Woolly Mammoth Tusk pendants come with our certificate of authenticity.

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand\'s leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.

We have two SEA BEAR options available; one is on a 50cm chain and the other is on a 60cm sterling silver chain. Please use the drop-down menu to make your selection.
