Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this exceptional & rare 18th century antique Queen Anne Walnut needlepoint footstool. We sell about 40/50 footstools every year with the majority of them being Arts & Crafts & Victorian ones. This is without a doubt one of the finest footstools we’ve had the pleasure of offering in some time and we’re very excited to offer this to our clients around the globe. The needlepoint seat is extremely well done and features a vase bursting with multi colored flowers. The stool has an oval shape with an intriguing burled walnut grain & very finely formed pad feet. The footstool is in great condition with our only notes being a couple minuscule veneer chips that we’ll have our woodworker address & a small hole where a few of the pink threads separated in one of the flowers. The stool measures 23 1/2” wide x 19” deep x 19” tall.
