This gorgeous fabric was lovingly washed and repaired by Meli and Colleen before Meli decided what it would become. Mudcloth is a traditional craft from West Africa that displays sophisticated textile modalities such as spinning, hand-weaving on a loom, natural dyeing with fermented mud, and resist dyeing or sometimes (with newer pieces) hand-printing. This piece is a particularly gorgeous example, made into a classic boho-style shirt with a beautiful drape. This is the exact item you will receive.
