In 1965, Pierre Paulin created the Tulip Chair, which displays premonitions of Flower Power through its simple, half-open petals. The chair\'s design embraces the sitter, creating a welcoming and comforting experience.
There is a dignified high Tulip and an elegant, low \'Little Tulip\'. Together with the footstool, it makes for an expressive, very comfortable combination.
The disk base is polished aluminum or powder-coated. The back/seat fastening hardware and tube are chromed. A felt ring is on the underside of disk.
Made in Holland by Artifort.
