Hand woven made in Alpaca fiber. Made in Ayacucho, in the district of Huamanga, recognized worldwide for its softness and elegance. The composition of the material used is 45% Alpaca, 5% Wool, and 45% acrylic; with back lining in 100% Cotton.To manufacture the cushion, first the warp is assembled (a set of threads placed in parallel and lengthwise on the loom to pass through them the weft and form a fabric) which takes 1 hour and a half. The warp is assembled on the loom and this process takes about 12 hours. On the loom you start weaving the cushion using the selected colors and design. The weaving of a cushion takes approximately 6 hours. In total, each cushion takes approximately 24 hours of hand work to complete.
