Crafted from 100% linen woven from European flax and pre-washed for a soft vintage feel from day one.

Linen comes from the flax plant. Flax is an eco-friendly, resilient crop that produces strong fibers that are woven into linen fabric. It’s a naturally sustainable crop, requiring minimal water and pesticides to produce, much less than cotton, whilst also yielding useful byproducts you may be familiar with such as flax seeds and flax oil. The flax is then dyed and woven into fabric we know as linen.

Linen weight and quality is not measured in thread count, instead we measure GSM (grams per square meter), literally the weight of the fabric. Most linen bedding will sit between 140 and 220 GSM and as you would expect a higher GSM will indicate a thicker weight fabric. We’ve found the optimum GSM is 165, ideal for strong yet breathable line
