The JAPAN EDITION collection was developed by a Japanese design team to suit the climate and trends of Japan. Based on the design of LL Bean T-shirts from the 1980s, the material and fit have been updated. The front is made of natural cotton, while the back is made of an original material woven with nylon yarn, which is moisture-wicking, quick-drying, antibacterial, odor-resistant, cool to the touch, and UV-protective. All colors except Birch feature a Katahdin print on the chest, which is then garment-dyed to give it a vintage look.Size & Fit

Material & Care

• Made of 80% cotton/20% nylon


• Original material with cotton on the front and nylon on the back


• It offers functionality such as quick-drying, antibacterial, deodorizing, cooling to the touch, and UV protection.

• Use a laundry net when washing/use a cloth when ironing


• Please wash separately


• Will shrink slightly when washed


• For off-white and light-colored items, please use a non-fluorescent detergent.


• Do not soak or leave wet.


• Dark colors may transfer to other items when rubbed or wet, so please be careful when wearing them with white or light colors.


• Please avoid ironing the print.

• Lemon, Lime, and Charcoal are dyed to create a unique texture (twists, wrinkles, etc. may be seen, and each piece will vary in size, color, and texture).


• By dyeing the garment after applying the Katahdin print, some areas of the print are dyed and some areas of the print peel off after washing, giving the garment the look of a vintage printed T-shirt.
