This collection of rimless optical designs draws directly on two key attributes of Akoni. Two key symbols of the brand, the minimal and perfect geometries of the circle and the square, have been combined to create an intriguing and fresh new lens shape. And the brand’s deep ties to Japan—where Akoni’s esteemed artisans are based and where key components of every Akoni design are sourced—are highlighted in a singular silhouette that seamlessly blends the futuristic boldness of Tokyo with the powerful and enduring intellectual spirit of Japanese culture. To balance the geometric simplicity of the lens, Juno relies on powerful yet featherweight Japanese titanium frames accented with familiar signatures, including a side temple adorned with Akoni’s signature knurled piece and finished with a branded temple tip topped with custom screws. Kepler plays with the classic lines of the Wellington, an inverted trapezoid silhouette with a wider top than bottom, largely adopted by Clark Kent. Akoni’s Kepler injects a modern twist to the familiar design, adding a bold acetate front, sculpted inside and out for depth and dimensionality, as well as the brand’s signature titanium temples for both style and all-day comfort. Updating the classic aviator style with a fresh 21st-century twist, Calisto’s signature double-rim design is crafted from hand-finished brushed titanium. The frame’s front bar is inlaid with enamel in complementary colors for a sophisticated, timeless look.
