Each chair is constructed with a shaped backrest crowned by a carved crest, scrolling arms with rolled terminals, and raised on stout cabriole legs terminating in carved scroll feet.

The frames retain their original giltwood finish, now beautifully aged with visible wear, losses, and areas of exposed bole and wood beneath—offering a rich, layered patina that speaks to age and use. The carving remains crisp, with leaf motifs, molded rails, and decorative banding along the seat apron and arms.
