HOT ! Vintage LCM lounge chair by Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra in black

The LCM by Charles and Ray Eames embodies the essence of the Plywood Group: clean lines, warm wood, and a serene presence. Seat and back shells in three-dimensionally molded black ash rest on a lightweight metal frame. Black leather cushions add a precise accent and enhance comfort. The backrest yields subtly, while the seat remains stable. Designed in 1946 as part of their early plywood experiments, the chair still appears contemporary. This Vitra example is well-maintained and in very good condition. A piece of mid-century design that remains composed.
