Hayward (1916 - 1994) was a British furniture designer. He collaborated with Vanson a British furniture manufacturer, during the 1950s and 1960s, creating elegant and functional pieces that reflected the era\'s minimalist aesthetic.
One of his notable designs for Vanson was a series of modular sideboards and cabinets, which utilised high-quality materials such as teak and emphasised clean lines and practicality. Hayward\'s work for Vanson was part of the broader mid-century trend toward modern, space-saving furniture suited to smaller post-war homes. His designs are regarded as examples of mid-century British craftsmanship and innovation.
