HOT ! Lady Liberty On Eagle Ball

We are so excited about this piece, she is the perfect partner for Uncle Sam on an Eagle Ball! Miss Liberty is statuesque and proudly holding the torch of freedom high to welcome all of your guests. She is made of hand painted distressed paper pulp, which makes her look vintage. She will look terrific standing next to Uncle Sam (TD2041) another large display piece by Bethany Lowe. They could be paired side by side or as book ends on the edge of a mantle or side board patriotic display! Use them as a centerpiece for a 4th of July party!!

Crowned and standing firm, Lady Liberty raises her torch in one hand and cradles a tablet in the other, balanced atop a dark sphere with a golden eagle and ring of stars. The Lady Liberty on Eagle Ball stands 24.5 inches tall and is constructed from paper pulp, finished with painted details and distressing that gives her the look of an older artifact.

Her robe is striped in red and white, with a dark blue sash decorated with raised stars crossing over her shoulder. The golden flame of her torch contrasts with the muted tones of her skin and gown, giving the piece a bold accent at its highest point. Her base is painted in a deep, nearly black hue, with a wide, perched eagle applied in gold leaf tones, surrounded by a pattern of matching stars.

This design comes from Bethany Lowe and sits well as a single figure or paired opposite another of similar scale. Though created with paper pulp, the figure has a sculptural weight in presence, and the use of worn texture across the surface makes it appear as though it has existed longer than it has. There’s no sheen or gloss; it has the matte patina often found in older pieces made for civic halls or parades.

The figure stands upright, eyes looking forward, with both arms angled slightly outward. She doesn’t lean or tilt. The torch and crown serve as visual landmarks, while the robes and lower globe form the structure’s vertical weight.
