This is a premium quality, wool blend, flex fit, baseball style cap, honoring the men of the Union\'s famous Iron Brigade. Although most well known for their costly and pivotal actions at Antietam and Gettysburg, the unit\'s distinct battle flag was seen at many engagements throughout the Civil War.

The hat front features the Iron Brigade\'s signature horn with the red base, in detailed puff style embroidery (the type found on professional baseball caps). The cap has the regiments of the Iron Brigade and their signature wheel on the rear of the cap, but the hats most notable decoration is the Jeff Davis Shako eagle on the side. The cap is designed to be modern artful representation of the Iron Brigades famous Hardee hat, worn by Iron Brigade throughout our Civil War.

Sizing Information: Three sizes S/M, L/XL, and XXL

Flex fitted hats fit a range of head sizes, and come in three sizes.

S/M (Small through Medium). So a S/M cap would fit heads with measurements of 21 inches to 22 1/2 inches, or hat sizes 6-3/4 to 7-1/4.

L/XL (Large through Extra Large) hat would fit measurements just over 22 1/2 up to 24 inches, or hat size 7-1/4to 7-1/2


The XXL size would fit hat sizes 7-5/8 and larger.   


The most reliable way of sizing is to measure with a tape. There is crossover at the 7-1/4 size. A person with a 7-1/4 head size could wear either a Sm/Med or an L/XL, with the Sm/Med fitting just a little bit more snug.
