A pair of postmodern chairs by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF, manufactured in Germany in the 1980s. The design language is graphic and industrial. A strictly rectangular, black lacquered metal frame supports a curved aluminum backrest with square cutouts. The black leather seat is lightly suspended within the frame. This creates a subtle interplay between surface and volume, cold and soft. Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. Scratches on the backrest, subtle stacking marks on the seat. Clear proportions, comfortable seat height. A Memphis reference without the noise. Sold as a pair.
