To nourish and protect the wood rub an edible oil such as olive oil or walnut oil into the surface with a soft cloth. Note that this may darken the tone of the wood slightly. Due to the natural beauty of these items there may be changes to the colour over time. Blot any spillage immediately with a dry cloth, do not use chemical cleaners.
