HOT ! Mizukihara Uchigumori Jito Japanese Natural Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 160 mm (6.30 inches) long × 68 mm (2.68 inches) wide × 22 mm (0.87 inches) tall, and weighs 446 g (15.73 oz / 0.98 lbs).

Hardness: 4Semi hard Uchigumori Koppa with dark blue base color and aka Renge with underlying Karasu patterns. This harder type Uchigumori is traditionally reserved for Jibiki/Jito for polishing the soft steel. This harder type is also amazing for razor honing as it allows for particle breakdown due to its harder base. This creates a scenario in which the user may produce slurry using varying mediums to achieve a wide range of potential refinement levels with one stone. This piece would make a great koppa for pre finishing razors and testing the limits of it\'s refinement capabilities. This piece is capable of finishing a razor if proper technique and time are taken to break down the slurry. Works best for pre finishing because it does a great job of blending and removing previous grit scratches and creating a uniform edge.
