HOT ! Chinese Silver Gilt & Carnelian Bracelet Filigree Design Vintage Republican (Code A458)

Description

A wonderful Chinese bracelet in silver gilt.  The bracelet is made up of panels of beautiful filigree decoration and Shou symbols for longevity.  Four of the panels are mounted with carnelian gemstones and there is further intricate filigree decoration on the two panels which make up the push pin clasp which also has a safety chain.  To the reverse of one of the panels is the mark \'Made In China\' and the clasp is also marked for silver.    The bracelet was probably made during the Chinese Republican period. 

The bracelet comes in a presentation box which is not original to the bracelet.

Condition:  Very good for period with minor signs of wear.  Gilt scratched to clasp as expected through use.
