Engineered Mesh Upper

Offering maximum ventilation, the Ultra Glide 3 features an engineered mesh for a comfortable wearing experience. The breathable upper provides feet with a constant supply of airflow and keeps you feeling cool and comfortable. Perforations enable cool, refreshing air to circulate whilst at the same time removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature. As well as this, the soft, padded collar and tongue sit close to the foot to help irritation and chafing, further increasing comfort levels. Also residing in the upper is EndoFit technology which is an internal fit sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a precise fit. Finishing the upper is a Quicklace system that helps to lock down the midfoot to prevent in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free run.

Lightweight and responsive, the midsole of the Ultra Glide 3 utilises energyFOAM, designed to offer long-lasting cushioning and outstanding energy return. The midsole guarantees soft landings, even over long distances and on rugged terrain and surfaces. The midsole provides a cushioned feel which is responsive with every step, enabling a higher energy return to keep you pushing for longer.

All-Terrain Contagrip Outsole

Crafted with an All-Terrain Contagrip, the outsole perfectly balances geometry with rubber to deliver confident running on a wide range of surfaces. The Contagrip provides outstanding traction on wet, dry, hard, and loose surfaces giving you stability whilst on the trail. The outsole can form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain. The shoes feature a wavy outsole geometry called Relieve Sphere, which is specifically designed to diffuse pressure and to break down repeated underfoot impact for enhanced, durable comfort. When you are running on wet and muddy ground, the shoe\'s deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction. The rubber construction of the outsole provides the shoes with durability, helping to reduce the risk of wearing in high-wear areas of the sole.
