HOT ! Vent Stool

The Skagerak Vent Stool features a slim, black steel frame with a classic braided paper cord seating surface. The Vent Stool has an organic look that will easily complement both modern and traditional interiors. ‘Vent’ Danish for ‘wait’, the design was originally designed for museum seating but became quite popular that Skagerak released it for their home collection. The seat is hand-made in collaboration with the Danish socio-economic company ‘Blindes Arbejde’ which employs visually impaired people in the manufacturing of traditional, handcrafted design objects.

Paper cord is a natural, long-lasting and comfortable material. The weaving is a time-consuming process carried out by hand – ensuring the best results and durability that will last many years.
