The need to protect employees and equipment from the harmful effects of electrostatic discharge is a reality for many manufacturing environments. That’s why placing ESD protection matting – or electrostatic matting – on the floor is so essential. Our ESD matting works by drawing the static charge to the ground, effectively protecting electronic components from damage and potential data loss, while also keeping employees safe.

AirLift Diamond Safety Volt Electrical Work Safety Mat prevents the accumulation of static from the worker and will protect your electronic equipment from sparks and surges.  The foam base provides comfort, and the diamond tread surface enhances traction.  The mat is equipped with a government insert for recommended grounding cord.  Cords are recommended for every 10\' of matting.  10\' ground cords are sold separately. Beveled edges for improved safety. Resistivity of the top surface is only 10 Ohms per square. Measured from surface to surface and surface to ground per EOS/ESD test method DS7.1-1994.

MAINTENANCEWhen cleaning ESD mats, it is important to sweep or dry-mop the surface regularly. Also wet-mop or wipe off with mild soap or a static-control cleaning solution that will not leave a residue. This will allow the mat to continue to function efficiently.

CUSTOM SIZESAvailable in individual custom sized mats or 75\' rolls (3\' x 75\', and 4\' x 75\'). The 9/16” is available in black with a diamond surface.
